Truly the nicest people. The motel is well cared for and very homey. You can tell the owners care about the place and enjoy running it. I would too with the beautiful setting near the lake. It's clean and nicely decorated. Lots of amenities such as a gazebo and a large fire pit by the lake. Too bad we didn't stay longer to really enjoy everything. This isn't the typical scary motel you see in the cities. We will be planning a trip soon just to stay here and take in the beautiful setting and the loons. I am so glad we found this place.

Excellent customer service! I was referred to Wigwam by friends and I had contacted them to schedule a reservation over a busy holiday several weeks in advance. Keith promptly responded to my request, held the reservation for 24 hours until I could get back to him and booked it very efficiently. Unfortunately, our plans changed and I had to cancel the reservation. No problem for Wigwam and Keith...again he promptly replied with an email confirming my cancellation and hoped I would keep them in mind in the future should I return to his area. This type of courteous and competent customer service is a rare find today...I will call them when I need a motel again in Emily!!
Nothing fancy but clean and well maintained. Owners were extremely nice and helpful. For the price we were very happy.
Ann and her family has certainly found their calling. The Wigwam is the Cleanest, Friendliest and most organized motel we have stayed in. We felt right at home from the moment we entered for check in till the time we left. From the great coffee to enlightening conversations in the breakfast nook, I would highly recommend staying here as long as you stay in the area.
